We engaged a broad range of older adults not being reached by previously existing science outreach efforts in Chicago. We sought to reach older adults where they live, browse, and gather. We thus gave presentations at

1. City of Chicago Senior Centers (Department of Family and Support Services)
2. Public Libraries
3. Residential homes

To establish science talk series at libraries, we also collaborated with the grass roots organization, Forward Chicago, a cohort of older adults who organize walking groups, potlucks, game evenings, and science talks!

We also led multiple subsidized field trips to the Adler Planetarium so that participants could absorb knowledge of astronomy through a wide range of presentation & learning styles.
