Geza Gyuk
Dr. Geza Gyuk did his Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Chicago. He is now Director of Astronomy at the Adler Planetarium and a Senior Research Associate at the University of Chicago. Geza has done work on cosmology, decaying neutrinos,and the dark matter content of the Andromeda Galaxy.
These days, Geza’s work focuses on star formation and exoplanets. As a member of the VERITAS collaboration, Geza studies high-energy gamma rays. He also studies the composition of asteroids. Gyuk leads Adler’s Far Horizons program, which is building a volunteer community to carry out space exploration missions.
