Aaron Geller
Aaron Geller grew up in Chicago’s Northern suburbs. After college at the University of Iowan (where he waffled between pursuing studio art and astrophysics), he did his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin (Madison). He then moved back to Chicago for his postdoctoral work at Northwestern and the Adler Planetarium. Aaron’s specialty is the study of gravitational interactions in globular and open star clusters, which he studies using very accurate computer simulations. He is also passionate about teaching, mentoring, and outreach, and regularly leads “Astronomy Conversations” at the Adler. He also helps develop astronomy visualizations for the Adler Planetarium.
